Wooden Town

The collection is inspired by the enchanting world of Nordic wooden neighbourhoods. The artist visited historic wooden towns in Finland, including Rauma and Porvoo, where narrow streets, tightly clustered houses, and façades shaped by layers of time offered rich material for the creation of patterns.

A wooden town is not merely architecture — it holds stories, memories, and quiet fairy tales. There is something timeless in these places: a feeling that moves from century to century, living on in the footsteps of people, the warm glow of windows, and the gentle breathing of wood.

The liveliness and playfulness of Nordic wooden towns echo a familiar childhood spirit: courage, freedom, and imagination — a world where rules may bend and fantasy knows no limits.
